Kas & Ros

Come and enjoy this 2.5 hour workshop getting creative and jewellery making. Craft your very own hammered sterling silver ring, whether as a gift for somebody or a treat for yourself. Hosted by expert jewellers. 

They will guide you through the process of making a ring using traditional goldsmithing techniques such as annealing, forging, soldering, and filing to name but a few. In this workshop you will have the option of making either a wide hammered band or two fine hammered stacking rings (as pictured). Over the course of the class you will have plenty of opportunity to practice your newfound skills, as demonstrated by the jewellers throughout.

There’ll be plenty of opportunity for one-to-one interaction with the jewellers during your session. 

We offer gold plating as an optional extra which can be requested and paid for at the end of the workshop. Choose from yellow gold, rose gold or black rhodium plating for your finished ring(s) - prices range from £20 - £40. Please note this service takes up to 3 weeks and you will need to leave your ring(s) with us, which can then be collected or posted out.

Suitable for complete beginners with no previous jewellery making experience.

Participants must be 18 or over.

You will leave with your finished ring(s) on the day, unless you choose to have gold plating.

This class is in a lovely area at the back of a working Jewellery store. The teachers are very helpful and friendly and clearly know what they're doing. Class was very reasonably priced for the two rings and time spent making them.

Amazing evening! I was able to make two silver stacking rings. The teachers would be awesome, patient and knowledge. Get do all the stages of ring building, from cutting, to shaping, to soldering, and decorating. The venue is beautiful and easy to find, and there were some Prosecco and cup cakes! I went by myself, but this was no issue, would definitely recommend

It’s very rare that you get experts who are also great at teaching their skill. Ros and Milena are so knowledgeable and are very good at breaking down all the stages into manageable chunks for their guests. Great hostesses and have a very buzzy atmosphere. My fiancé chose a thicker ring and I chose the option of two stacking rings, one of which I am having played with rose gold that the ladies are sorting out for me and then sending to my house. Firstly the shop itself is beautiful, and being taken through to the garden space in the back I was so impressed by the atmosphere - they have created something really special with their workshop space.
