Kas & Ros

Come and enjoy this 2 hour workshop where you’ll learn to hand forge your very own sterling silver torque bangle. This classic design makes it a perfect gift for somebody or a treat for yourself. Hosted by close friends and award winning jewellers Ros Millar & Milena Kovanovic (Crucible London). They will guide you through the process of making a bangle using the traditional goldsmithing techniques of annealing, forging, hammering and filing. 

Over the course of the workshop you will put your newfound skills and some elbow grease into making your own silver hammered torque bangle.

Finally toast all your hard work with a glass of bubbly and sweet treats to end the class in style.

With a maximum of eight people in any one session, you can rest assured that there’ll be plenty of opportunity for one-on-one interaction with the jewellers. The workshop will take place in a hidden, heated and covered garden, housed at the back of jewellery store ‘Kas & Ros’.

Fantastic workshop in a lovely setting. I had the class to myself (due to Covid), so was fortunate enough to get one-on-one tuition.
The instructor, Milena, was very knowledgeable, explained the process clearly and was great at offering help when required but letting me work independently as I got the hang of the technique. I have come away with a beautiful and pretty substantial bangle, which I can't wait to show off!
